Ambush Victim Moved

The Chihuahua police commander mentioned below was moved across the border to an El Paso hospital for his own safety. Other patients at the US hospital seem a little freaked out by the police lockdown now in place.

Dear Marlene,

Beyond getting sucked in to the adolescent politics of the Mexican government, I have been pulled in to your sons blog, like a hair slithering down a bathroom tub drain.
Why is this policemen so important to be taken in to another country for his protection? Who is paying for his protectin? What about the other guests within the hospital, are their lives at risk? This senario sounds like a high school musical version of any Steven Segal movie, take your pick.
Either way, I say place the guy in the middle of the Rio Grande and see who wants him the most.
Yes I am bitter Walter, but another problem has fallen into the lap of the US, more so, the Texas government.
Come hit balls tomorrow

There are no easy solutions to all the problems in Mexico nor in Texas. Many Mexicans are also bitter or resigned to things never changing. We are just hoping that if things change they don't change for the worse. Compared to other countries we have lived in, it is relatively peaceful and organized here.
