Snow!

Today is a good day to check out the Wolf Creek snow report.

Highlights- 24" in the last 24 hours. 90" in the past week. Forecast: Snow.

Wolf Creek is one of the few ski areas in Colorado I have yet to visit, but I hope to do so soon.

Maybe when the twins are old enough to ski...

And, yet, Colorado still has a drought.

The drought has been over since March of 2003. Water storage didn't catch up right away, but precipitation has been close to average.
Above average, now.

Given the majority of Colorado is a high desert environ I hold there never was a drought. I hold that the drought the mainstream news media is more than happy to peddle almost daily is just another fabrication whose intent is to erode private property and individual rights.

But what do I know? Ahs just a blogger.
