Khalil points out that his is a local blog, covering sports. As the only professional athlete blogging, that I know of, I feel I should point this out.
OK, before anyone goes to Google, I can't imagine that I'm the only professional athlete blogging. But I don't know of any others, so I'm secure in my own ignorance.
Mrs. InDenver just giggles when I say 'professional athlete.' Something about 'except the athlete' part.' She must know something.
Posted by Walter at May 19, 2004 10:01 PMWalter, send me an email. I'd like to talk to you a bit prior to next weeks gathering. What sport do you play? I used to hoop a little bit and now do some high school coaching.
BTW: I've been in an ongoing discussion with a couple of buddies regarding "third parties". If you look at the current political climate, they are the saving grace of our democracy. I say that with all sincerity and as a Democrat who frequently sees the potential of our party fall short due to our inability to evolve. (We can't possibly be for "less" or just plainly more effective government can we. Even if that makes sense, it is not a Dem thing to believe.)
I just play golf these days. No real sports.
Posted by: Walter at May 20, 2004 10:14 PMGolf is a real sport. If it wasn't then Charles Barkley wouldn't look so damn funny trying to play it.
