Ideological Prism

According to Diane Carman, The Da Vinci Code is all about the patriarchy keeping women down, or something. Take any opportunity to make a point about the evil of men.

Sorry. I can't make a general statement about the evil of men. I am one and I'm not inherently evil, nor are others. But Ms. Carman makes a valid point. Not about society in general, but about the Catholic Church. It is a patriarchy. Simple fact. You can argue that it's a good thing or a bad thing, but you can't argue that it is.

That the Church hierarchy has aggressively maintained that patriarchy saturates the Dan Brown novel and pops-up frequently in the movie.

"It is a patriarchy."

Just because no women are in the leadership. You are so judgemental.
